“12 Pear Tree House strikes me as a truly comfortable base for exploring York; it's exceptionally well-equipped, particularly the kitchen, and the beds are wonderfully inviting after a day out. The location is a real standout, putting the Minster and Shambles within easy reach, yet it retains a surprising quietness, with the city walls practically at the back door. Having private parking right there is a practical grace note that truly elevates the stay.”
